A friend this morning was asking what number of followers I need to get to, to start growing exponentially. I told him there is no number for the kind of stuff I write about. The most insightful writers (for me) are all under 5,000. Some of the best not even past triple digits. All my friends and family are well educated. Yet there is only one or two who follow and think about what's going on in the world, geopolitically. I really do envy them. What I think I see often gets me up at 3 am in a panic attack. I could go on and on but as you say, you're "all too aware."
