A statement he made in 2005. For many reasons, Russia wants Ukraine on its side. To say Putin is about to go to war to fulfil a wild interpretation of a comment he made in 2005 is a bit much for me.
What we read in the media is 99% propaganda from the U.S. and 89% from Russia. Oh the irony! ;) The real war is being fought by energy and defense industry interests on both sides.
