Adam Sandler would not have done that movie in a million years. Cohen is a very smart guy, ambitious, talented, etc. etc. But he does humor at the expense of others. He wants you to feel superior. He is laughing with you AT people.

Sandler never laughs at his subjects while not also laughing at himself first. Sandler loves humanity. I'm sure he has many daemons, but that always come through for me. Sandler is a National Treasure. For my money.
