Again, I'm on your bus. Things are changing. The mainstream news doesn't argue, at least, that it is NOT climate change ;) However, for many people, it's sort of like a story that will run for a few years and then disappear.

I live in Cambridge, MA. You can't throw a rock without hitting a PhD or someone deep in tech. Yet I see all these SUV EVs. I could go on, have elsewhere, that if the smartest people in the U.S. don't ACT alarmed about climate change no one else will. What they believe, subconsciously, is whatever happens, they'll create tech to fix it--for them.

Bottom line, even the ABOVE average people aren't worried about it, because they believe they'll save themselves. Sure, they may recognize carbon recapture won't work. So they'll build a bubble over the city or something.
