Ah, those unintended consequences. You pick up the lowly fireman apprentices and send them to the front but don't think who's going to put out your fires tomorrow. The fat, limping fire chief certainly ain't ;) All the grunt workers, in every trade are gone or in hiding.

The problem can't be fixed. Once you lose trust it's near impossible to get it back. What I find interesting about the warehouse fire is what happens if it works? If word spreads through the population that burning down one's employers place is an effective way to avoid service?
