This piece reeks of entitlement. You suggest that people who are read on Medium these days are low-quality writers picked by the algorithm. Step outside yourself and read this article again. Or just wait 5 years ;)

What if you couldn't be more wrong, that the problem isn't Medium. The problem is you.

Go out, do your best, hope for the best. Assume no one will read you and though you'll always meet with disappointment you won't blame your bad luck on others. You have no idea if NewsBreak, or anywhere else, will give you the audience you achieved on Medium.
