Another point. Churchill's supposed racism pales in front of the racism at the time. If he had said "we must save Indians because they are the same as us" he would have lived out his life in obscurity. The reason HItler never wanted to attack England was because he was an Anglophile and believed England would join forces with Germany partly BECAUSE they shared the same racial views. (That is no more evident than today with Brexit which is racism 21st century style.)

Therefore, if one judges by how one walks, instead of talks, Churchill defended the world against anti-racism like no other. And that's no mean feat considering how much many English people looked on approvingly at Hitler. It wasn't English soldiers who went first to the concentration camps and looked on in horror (they already understood their complicity). It was the Americans.
