Apple is all about selling the fantasy of being creative and rich while workers throw themselves off roofs in China. It's about getting kids to rack up huge amount of student debt they use to buy Apple products. That's what the logo means to some people. But even with those low expectations I too was bored by Foundation. And I too was bored by the book many, many years ago. Asimov was more of a non-fiction science writer, actually, an all around hack spewing out 100 books a year, or something crazy like that. You didn't go out in public and say you liked science fiction back then. Anyway, you might try "Dark", the German TV show. There is real science fiction talent out there.
