Because not enough people need to buy things from Argentina. After WWII Europe was destroyed so everyone had to buy from the U.S. to rebuild and that ended up with the Dollar replacing the British Pound in the West.

I don't see that changing. The yuan won't be replacing dollars for me, or anyone in the west. I'm just pointing out that the wars are helping to make the yuan a reserve currency for Russia and Iran, though that may NOT happen.
