We're old. Young people aren't going to wipe our asses for minimum wage. Rather, they will, for those wealthy enough to afford it. The problem is, too many boomers believe they can afford the ass wiping.
They believe there will be some magic new source of renewable energy. Just like the German believed "synthetic" oil would see them through the war. They believe extreme weather won't increase maintenance costs (drive wealth down).
They'll send the lower class kids to war before dealing with any of that, just like the early 1940s. When the dust clears, we'll be gone.
