Despite the draft, Israel isn’t as different as the U.S. or Europe anymore. Just my opinion, but Netanyahu had to pound the table relentlessly about Iran which is no real direct threat. Americans believe they’re going to make quick work of any adversary with their F-35s and aircraft carriers and whatever. It’s just a matter of time before young people learn what their dead great grandparents learned from war.
