Don't get me wrong. I loved your story. Digital cameras brought high end photography to the masses. EVs bring speed and status to the wealthy and leave the poor to eventually foot the bill for infrastructure (they can't charge at home) and e-waste. Hopefully that will change in the future!

I don't believe ICE cars will die, for many reasons. If again, for the simple reason they are the best solution for the working person who can't afford an EV and can't wait for their car to charge.
