Exactly. They could get their thrill, need, to feel powerful and move on. The same happened in Germany in the 1930s? Most Germans believed, though reprehensible, the attacks on Jews and foreigners would burn out.

I thought as much with Israel with both settlers and jihadist. Both groups were bad, but they'd die out or something.

I saw very worrying signs, both there and in America, but again, thought it would go away. Instead, it's metastasized into institutionalized hate groups, Zionists vs Hamas. The U.S. unwittingly empowered the Zionists and they unwittingly created Hamas to weaken Palestinians, and here we are.

We, in the U.S., are also institutionalizing hate groups. We too believe they will go away. I hope they do but the trend here isn't our friend ;)
