For you, this is a fluff piece haha! The big question, which I'm sure was one of the ways you thought about going here, is did Texeira learn his views through a Discord group or AT THE office (military)?
Texeira is another canary in the coalmine when it comes to arrogance, or at best out-of-touch, attitudes running through the U.S. military. Most young people serving in the military view the U.S. as the strongest nation on Earth. There is no 2nd or 3rd. What's going on in Ukraine is a game. Those documents to him are like the game rules you wrote above. And again, ultimately, the U.S. sets the rules. As has been pointed out, all the young people flying drones out of that area have no real experience in war. War IS a game to them, or how could they see the difference from a real drone's screen and that of a game?
I could go on but I expect you'll do it better in a future piece!
Also, did you see the FBI, or whoever it was, like 50 of them, having him talk backwards. All hiding behind a truck. Just looked like the stupidest f'ing nitwits I can imagine. The guy is practically in his underwear. One of the guys had his gun partially raised. WTF.
