From even those who don't approve of Putin, I haven't heard any say Russia doesn't have a point. NATO was about European defense against Russia, sure. So why did it go into Iraq, Afghanistan, Libya, etc etc? NATO is an anachronism. Cynics say just make-work for American defense contractors. In any case, like you say, the Admiral wasn't saying anything out of the ordinary. That's what I wanted to get across in my transcription.
