From what I can tell watching YouTube videos, 95% of Ukraine wouldn't know the difference if they were part of Russia or governed by Lilliput. It's a large, mostly barren place.

If the West "gave" Russia east-Ukraine Putin would be happy, the Ukrainians in that area could get back to their lives, and it would be win-win all around. If only it was that simple.
