Gaza is not a sovereign nation. It has no agency. Israel is full of people who are suppressive of women, dangerous for gays and have anti Muslim beliefs. I see Corey Shuster (who is Gay) interview them often.

No, I can't even enter Gaza. Almost no Westerners can, even before 10/7. Containing people behind a wall has benefits--don't think I don't get it, and wouldn't want to do the same myself. However, surrounding any animal, especially humans, with a wall means you risk getting trampled one day when you forget what it must be like to live within those walls.

Israel got trampled. Instead of taking it as a message to fix the situation it went "lunatic" as Finkelstein puts it. Now Israel will be a pariah among nations who do NOT kill people within their borders, or in defenseless nations--not to that sickening degree.
