Google search isn't primarily full-text search, it's page ranking. Now it's not even that--just pay to play results based on advertising. And in the full-text search aspect, people have investigated and found Google cuts off after a few pages, which full-text search would never do.

Agree, AI will try to follow a similar path but this time the content owners are prepared and they're already suing to get their content removed. That doesn't mean they won't figure out how to make money. We'll see!
