Great piece!!! I know you tried to be objective, but I dont think you could have made a stronger argument for the demise of Putin. Russia didn't beat the German back with technology. It used serfs. What's changed?

The war is coming to its absurd phase where Ukraine sinks a battleship (I believe it true) and Russia says we're going to blow up your WeWork office if you don't back down. So very, very, very sad.

It also greatly saddens me that Putin choise oil over Russias space/tech industry. If all those genius Russians were allowed to work in Russia, freely, and with support, we'd be on Mars by now.
