Therefore, your diatribe makes me question your logic. If I was Palestinian in Gaza would I be happy with Hamas, for the reasons you mention? No. Would I want to spend a few months in a jail cell if I was an Arab Israeli? No.

For Hamas to continue losing, so to speak, Israel would need to win the hearts and minds of those Palestinians. If it doesn't, it doesn't matter that many will hate Hamas, many will also join them.

As for Intel putting money into Israel. I expect that will be put on pause once the backlash begins. I believe Israel will not enjoy a healthy economic future. That isn't something we'll see today. Years ahead.
