Great stuff! The deeper story about Rosenberg is he's a boomer who feels entitled to his high western standard of living. He and his readers mostly live in large houses, consume tons of carbon in their travels and buy a Tesla to do their part for the environment and forget the matter.

He wants the Fed to lower interest rates because that's what property owners want (and have gotten for the past decade). However, the Fed cannot control long-term rates or inflation (both go hand in hand). He's totally oblivious to his greed and the developments you cover.

If what you say in your stories is true (and of course I believe it so) then the price of food and energy and material (for rebuilding) must rise as demand outstrips supply. Why don't we see that theory in the media? The reason is simply, it's simply too scary.

Anyway, I just wanted to point out that Rosenberg is making your point, but in why he says the things he does. He isn't worried about a hard landing for the planet. Again, not in his vision. To him, the Fed can fix everything.
