Great stuff as always, but I'll argue me point again. The West simply doesn't have the weapons to send Ukraine. Rather, it can't give them up and remain combat ready, itself. It's almost 3 years now. Just as Putin expected the war to only last a few days, the U.S. expected the war to only last a year or two.
The U.S. can't even stop the Houthis from essentially controlling Red Sea shipping. The U.S. couldn't stop the Taliban from entering Kabul. The U.S. can't cut Israel off because without Israel the U.S. would be driven out of the Middle East faster than it prefers to leave.
In short, the U.S. is weak and getting weaker. Putin sent a wake-up call. The U.S. is still sleeping.
