Hi Jack, the FBI raided a guy living in the house next door to my kid. They did it MONTHS after the event. A total surprise to the kid who probably thought they'd never bother with him. There was no reason to do it at night. Isn't it ironic the FBI, our government, went after a young person who allegedly "stormed the capital" by busting down his door by doing the same by instruction from an INSTITUTION. Part of the problem. I expect young men to do stupid things--not the older wiser adults in my government.
I don't view the FBI as bad. Or its agents as being evil, or any of that stuff. I think we're saying the same thing. Excessive force or a presumption of guilt. Institutional rot and no one calling them on their abuse of the constitutional rights of the people they want to talk to or arrest. I live in Cambridge by the way and lived through the Boston Marathon thing. That boat is a few miles from me. Totally mishandled.
I believe the FBI also killed a friend of the bombers, Ibragim Todashev, in Florida, through overzealousness but of course the media won't follow up on that story. Again, I see little accountability for the FBI and the media doesn't follow up.
