Hi Michael. I'm no expert but certainly spend more time on the subject than anyone I know. My point wasn't about freedom in Ukraine, specifically, but freedom in wartime. I write, "Same in the West". Point me to a Ukrainian who wants to give Russia what they want. Again, not a slight on Ukraine, just the way people operate when at war. When the war is over I expect Ukraine will be as free as Europe, even freer, because one values what one dies for.
