Hi Michael, I failed at communicating. It isn't the United Nations that is failing, it's the current generations behind it. We don't believe we need it because we don't believe WWIII is really going to happen again, for all the "new" developments you mentioned.

So I agree with you 100%, was point I was trying to make that there is no longer "a sentiment that something had to be done to prevent the same thing from happening again" as you wrote.

I believe there are other reasons, than the U.N., for the past 70 years of relative peace. But if ever we needed to take the U.N. seriously since then it is now.
