Hi Rahu. I get where you're coming from. I've been reading that stuff for a long time. Here, in the U.S., we stand for "freedom". We fight for freedom. But who is free? I'm free in the U.S. Does that mean someone outside the U.S. is "free". Similarly, an Israeli citizen is free, but only within Israel. Is a Palestinian "free"? My guess is you'd argue yes. I argue no, because they don't share the same freedom you and I have, which is to travel to almost any country we want, etc. They are not free to travel. Therefore, I can't judge them for whatever makes them feel good about themselves.
If you read me more closely you'll see I'm not berating Orthodox Jews. Quite the contrary. They put their God first. They don't put territory first.
There are always two sides to every story. That's my view. Pointing out the worst of any people is not way forward. Thanks for comment!
