Hi Scott. My opinion is the Israeli government should not embarrass its most powerful patron, the United States, unless it believe, in the decade ahead, it can go it alone in the Middle East. It's also not doing any favors to other democracies with large Muslim populations.

Please don't flame me, but I believe Israel had only itself to blame for the horror of this attack. So shouldn't do anything rash until it calmly figure out why and what that means.

I believe, call me crazy, that God does not approve of killing other humans, especially children if it can be avoided, and I believe it can be avoided if Israel waits and plans. Where is Hamas going? Nowhere. Jews could not look worse. Calling everyone antisemites is not helping either.

Israel has not shown competence, restraint, or forward thinking. It is acting rashly and I believe Israelis are deluded if they believe that won't have the usual consequences.

Before you embark on a journey of revenge, dig two graves
