I agree with what you wrote. But I have to point out another aspect, not another truth, but another aspect. I feel I know the people who stormed the Capital. I went to H.S. with their type. Sure, some of them were organized and had plans. But most of them are just knuckleheads with nothing else better to do. Just a wild party. A desire to be part of something big. To get maybe 15 minutes of fame. To brag to friends back home. Simpley to be close to a celebrity (Trump).

Many people are unhappy in the country, especially from income inequality. So again, just an aspect, I'm glad they stormed the capital (deaths horrible of course) becasue we DO have a huge problem. Congress should wake up. Those protestors are equal citizens to me, whether I like it or not, that's the deal. (and most will pay dearly for their actions).

Just wanted to comment that as much as what you say is true, it's not all bad. People (even if idiots and wrong-headed) need to revolt once in a while. So far, the country has held together and may indeed be stronger for it in the end.
