I did the read the article. I don't believe surveys in autocracies. Why would anyone say they don't like Putin if saying the word "war" can get them fined or put in jail? On 1420 I've seen very few old people say they don't like Putin. And even most young people would say it obliquely. Compare that to here. People speak their mind freely.

Anyway, I don't care as much about them, in this context as YOU.

I am certainly delusional. Who isn't. I'm not "rah rah" the U.S. This country has serious problems. We're not the reason for Russia invading Ukraine, but we sure the fuck didn't do much to prevent it. Now we're provoking China to no end. I don't expect you to have the respect for my leaders I DO NOT have ;)

I've been outside my bubble. I understand people hate the U.S. today, more than ever I believe, and understandably so.

My points aren't that the U.S. is good and will prevail. My point is the structure of the U.S., it's history, it's luck, etc., make it the most powerful country. Like you, Putin probably looks at the U.S. and says, all these f'd up kids with their LGBQ nonesense and hot-air politicians, homeless, etc., etc. and they're going to tell us what to do? No way. This is OUR REGION. We set the rules.

No matter how many people in the World hate the U.S. All the hatred in the world won't make Russia a winner, sorry. The region will go to the strongest and right now that's looking like a U.S. backed Ukraine, Poland, Turkey, UK, Germany (etc).
