I didn't watch all of the video; however, I don't believe it has stuff I haven't seen/read before.
I have never said Russia is 100% to blame. NOT EVEN CLOSE. I have only said it is ruled by a few old men who have gone sick in the head and need to be dealt with accordingly. In hindsight, "NATO" should have rolled into Ukraine immediately and pushed Russia out. Putin could have saved face with "we can't take on all of Europe and the U.S." But that didn't happen. I don't say that because I think Russia is evil but because, believe it or not, we probably agree that he who has the most power has the most responsibility. What you see is that I'm "indoctrinated" with Western propaganda. But my reasons are completely different I believe. For example, not sending equipment because of nuclear weapons--again, BS to me.
When Putin massed troops on the border he was clearly trying to negotiate something. One of the first pieces I wrote on this was about a German Navy Admiral who tried to voice his opinion and was shut down. So much for democracy, right? So the stuff you see, believe me, I see it too. https://medium.com/@maxrottersman/why-couldnt-germany-s-navy-chief-kay-achim-schonbach-speak-openly-about-putin-and-ukraine-47a83f994ee3
I've written many stories on Russia. Like you, hard to trust anything. Sometimes I say one thing in a story, sometimes another. I'm very frustrated there's so much death and destruction and it has warped my thinking and writing.
Here's another piece I wrote, early on, that you might find interesting. https://medium.com/@maxrottersman/beware-the-manufacturing-of-consent-fd1e0b0e6462
