I don't see exceptionalism in America. America is always on the verge of falling apart. "United" States has always been something of a delusional wish of the liberal democrat idealist. Yet distributed power, complex organisms have a way of adapting and surviving. I have no idea how long the CCP will last, or a functional U.S. But my money is on the land of mutts, not the purebreds.
