I doubt that very much. If it weren't for his family's money he would have even made it into Penn, the tail end of the Ivys.
If you had the kind of money he had, when you interviews, you would have gotten a job at Deutsch (also Trump's favorite bank as you know).
Banks don't hire just one type of investment bankers. They need a few intellectuals. But you went in trying to win a Trump position without his money. If you went in as a math-genius Russian, or a friend to Oligarch sons, things might have gone differently.
Also, banks couldn't give a rat's ass about formulas, despite all their talk about them. Being able to do the math is important, of course, but only to find a mirror and some smoke ;)
