I feel you are defending him. But I'm attacking him. So let's call it even ;)

The fact is SLS sent a capsule to the moon and back. SpaceX has not. So I'm sorry, I can't buy that "get results" argument. I believe SpaceX could reach the moon but they're not going to get there by calling SLS "70's era technology" ;) They're certainly not going to get their launching rockets on a beach like an 11-year-old.

Energy is energy is energy. I agree, let's talk engineering. You don't solve carbon emissions by storing post-carbon-burned energy in a battery (Tesla), you don't get more energy with Methalox without losing reliability (for now). Rocket engines are simply not much more fuel efficient than they were in the 1970s. Is that NOT a fact?

Tonight's (?) Superheavy will not land back on Earth. Why, they need all the fuel they have to get maximum payload.

The SpaceX program will get killed. That's my prediction. And all the effort, as much as I applaud it like you, wasted. Again, I'm with you in sentiment. But....

Energy is energy is energy.
