I found conversion documents but she never talked about it. My parents NEVER talked about religion and didn't want to talk about it if I brought it up. I went to Hebrew school until they had a race around the Synagogue and I ran all the way home and that was the end of that. My brother and sister "look" Jewish. I don't. I look like my Mother (Scottish/Irish).

I consider myself Jewish in thought (many have said I should have been a Rabbi), but not Jewish as part of the ethnicity or religious "tradition". Most Jews I know celebrate holidays they don't understand.

As for a 2-state solution. I agree with your logic. But they could have done that from the beginning. No one wants either to succeed. Both Jews and Arabs share that same sad delusion ;)
