I have this gut level feeling that Starship is never going to work. So I wrote a rant about it. I know a bit about raptor engines. Until we see 33 of them working at once taking anything into orbit I don't think you can claim the high ground here either. It isn't a question of science and engineering. It's a question of money and time and how many problems you expect to solve. Given enough money and time I'm sure Starship could work. But that's not how it works in the real world to me.
