I have three daughters and it breaks my heart they are living through a romantic dead zone. Boy meets girl, boy loses girl, boy gets girl (or girl meets boy, girl loses boy, girl gets boy) is the natural state of humankind IMO. Some are trying, like Ali Wong, but she's fighting the current.

"Working Girl" should be on the list because it's the last act of the 80s generation. When the girl is working and want s to get that last right romance and job. A perfect movie, IMO.
