I know you're not trying to trick anyone. The problem is you don't recognize why people are tricking you.

From a business point of view, solar and wind don't make economic sense. They just don't. Sorry. If they did, why would China continue to build coal power plants? Doesn't China have access to the cheapest wind and solar equipment?

Everyone recognizing the problem--oil and gas are running out. The climate is mostly marketing in this regard. Also, politicians want to make money and influence so they earmark money for businessmen wanting to build solar and wind, etc. The oil companies are also getting into green energy--why not, if they can get the subsidies to make it profitable?

I wish you were right. Sincerely! I wish global governments and energy firms were setting the goals you mention and doing everything they could to meet them.

But they're not. They're only doing enough to make some money. It's all about money.

There is no solution without people cutting back. Where do you see a politician saying that? When one does, they are on their way out.

Human greed is too great. Human short-sightedness is too strong. You can see all this by talking to your friends and going outside and see what changes.
