I love stories like this! I tried to leave a comment on your "pagers" story but it said "responses hidden". Never seen that before. Anyway, couldn't agree with you more on that one. Another aspect of hijackings is they became more and more deadly as they tried to limit them. I expect the same with the pager attacks. We ain't seen nothing yet.

My only political party story is 45 years old. I met a friend at a young Republican party, or something like that. It so creeped me out that I've never attended anything like it since. Not because it's Republican, specifically, but the observations you made here.
