I saw a full failure. It was struggling from the moment it lifted off. I doubt the exploding launch pad had much to do with that problem. I don't *want* it to fail. My point has always been it is trying to do too much at the same time, or too much with limited resources. What have they learned from that failure? Not much I can see because, again, too much went wrong making it difficult to figure out what was the cause of what.
I never said there is a problem with the core SpaceX business. I said Starlink won't survive without Starship (what Musk said, so not on me); rather, Starlink will have to charge more than $300 a month to make it financially, which is already becoming true (raising prices, etc).
That said, I think Starlink is doing BETTER than I thought it would. So it IS beating my expectations. But I still don't think it will make it sorry. It's just one good solar flare away from a check it can't cash.
As for Tesla. The other day I would have bought one. I hope to getting that Medium story done soon. You will GET YOUR LAUGH at my expense ;)
I seldom go on Twitter anymore.
As for the "re-entry system". I think we agree. It works very well ;) CHEERS!
