I see him acting rationally from his POV. Israel's economy has been worsening for some time. It can't afford to run the Gaza prison or keep the West Bank pacified. Israel is breaking apart, for many reasons.

By trying to eliminate all the Palestinians, either by destroying their homes (forcing them to move) or killing them as "terrorists" Israelis don't have to look at the drivers behind 10/7. They don't have to ask, "Why did we kill our own people during 10/7?" They always say "later" to me. Later?

Netanyahu is most Israeli Jews. They simply can't accept becoming poor. When all this is over they will WISH TO GOD they lived with the economic problems they had BEFORE 10/7.

Nothing is free. Israelis believes the U.S. supports them for ideological reasons. Israel was the U.S. "stick" in the region. If the U.S. can accomplish all it wants in the future with the "carrot" why does it need Israel? It doesn't. That's why Iran isn't taking the bait. Fascinating to no end!!!
