I see this too. But I also see that that the West's "buyers" want Russia to keep supplying cheap gas to Europe (over China) and China to keep selling cheap goods to the West. Both Russia and China needs some external conflicts to take people's attention off decreased domestic opportunity.

Let's say Putin is overthrown? Then what? If the CCP disintigrates, then what? There was no effort for nations to work together during Covid. The U.S. didn't offer mRNA vaccine technology for China or Russia to use privately and claim some ownership to save face? Although I'm American and biased toward the West I can't pretend the arrogance is not helping. The West plays too much of the blame game.

We tolerated the CCP when we were getting cheap goods. Now that markets have matured the CCP is the devil.
