I so enjoy your essays! But I see the fault resting squarely with the elites who have corrupted the political parties. They're the ones who should know better. Can we really blame the not-so-smart?

So I agree that we're in the 1930s again. I say it all the time. We're already in WWIII in my book. Smart people own/run the media. Smart people own or run the large corporations--especially tech companies.

They'd rather lament the likes of Trump than share a single penny with the disenfranchised. Or respect the things that are important to those people, God, Country, Apple Pie ;)
