I SO love your stories! However, I'd argue that interest rates have been too low for too long. Why, because the wealthy swap capital among themselves (knowing there's enough labor to keep them happy). That they also give themselves tax breaks for EVs while not paying the extra infrastructure cots (putting that on the less-wealthy) is, well, I don't have to tell you!
Interest rates should be closer to 20%. They need to be at a point where everyone takes it seriously, what energy they expend when leaving their home. Sure, the economy will collapse, but only relative to growth. Life will go on. Instead, rates will be kept low until they run higher, out of control.
