I suggest you read Graeber's book again. Debt, in its pure sense, has nothing to do with money but the balance of favors between people. That was his genius insight.
Property creates unequal debts. Giving people more money through MMT or whatever doesn't change anything because the property owner can raise their fee. You might say, okay tax them more! But you'd have to do that to the point where the property ends up being owned by the government and then you're right back where you started--a few dictate who has what to the rest.
You often write as if there's some simple solution to wealth inequality. There isn't. Creigh is looking at some practical ideas, IMO. But you seem fixated on calling various people and entities evil.
