I take it we're around the same generation. The European Jews who were part of the founding of Israel are old or have died. Their children can emigrate elsewhere. Anyway, they're not going to fight. Same here in the U.S. We can't field a decent army.

The ones who will fight in Israel aren't fighting for the Israel you want. Jews vs Muslims vs Persian vs Turks. The region wants to go back to old tribal borders. They don't want a "democratic" Israel? You think they do? Or do you agree with them?

So prevail over what? To me, your foe is imaginary. Something of the past, in any case. The world has changed. There's no real democracy in Israel or the U.S. Both in civil war. I have no idea how it will shake out. I try to ignore the nostalgia which I have too.
