I thought as you did but have changed my mind. Agree, we're destroying ourselves. So painful! For better or worse, part of our cultural DNA. The U.S. is a kind of family. Those who really want to get in, do--illegally or otherwise ;) It's looking like China is about to miscalculate. As bad as it was last time, Vietnam is one of our best friends today. We'll come together again. In the end, we share a bond one can't understand who doesn't live here. Many of our "allies" understand too.
