I'd argue, but I get enough flak ;) that the IDF is running a text-book clusterfck operation. This incident doesn't surprise me in the least. All they've done is blown up some buildings, the military value of which is beyond me. Most of the IDF is made up of kids totally unprepared for war. Commanded by bitter old men. Will those soldiers who killed the hostages live a normal life? Nope. Nor their families, etc., etc. I wouldn't be surprised if rational officers in the IDF released this to put a stop to it.
