If I can use a personal basketball analogy. I'm not a good player. But even the worst player must do something or the team's chances of winning fall.

When I play a game where my team isn't playing as a team, never passing me the ball (not that I personally want the ball) I will extort them to play like a team. They look at me, "he's not a good player, why should I listen to him?" They continue play selfishly.

So I stop playing hard. They complain. I say, "You don't need me. I don't get why you're upset."

As they start losing they change their mind and start passing me the ball, start playing like a team.

We're already seeing the first phase of this. Scientists, after getting ignored during Covid, are no longer playing hard. Many aren't playing in the Climate space either. War will increase. Tens of millions will die.

Then the world will start passing the ball to the intelligent players, even if they aren't good at politics.
