If the U.S. was at war with Russia and it took part of Louisiana do you think anyone in the East or West coasts would care after a few months?

Hopefully the move will shake Putin's power. But it must happen soon. Or Ukraine must keep advancing. Otherwise, Ukraine ends up having to defend something it never wanted.
