If women can’t tell the difference between a non-rapist comedian like Al Franken,and people like Trump, how much political capital can you ultimately acquire? How much can I, a man, trust you? Where were the woman coming down on Gillibrand and others for drumming Franken out of the Senate?
We needed Franken in the Senate because he was great at pushing back. But now he’s gone for an alleged tongue-kiss?

Women have had their way, have pushed dozens of high profile men out of their throne. Good right? You got what you wanted? But you didn’t. Because you don’t really care about the issue. Both MEN and WOMEN, BOYS and GIRLS, are sexually abused. But when the accuser is lying, it is the MEN who don’t get the benefit of the doubt. Okay, so that is rare. I believe you. But again, if it was ME?
More and more people are sick of this attitude you display in this piece, that 100 accusations make a conviction.
And worse, these lynching did nothing to reduce sexual crimes. You may argue, ‘well people understand the issue now.’ BS. Everyone knows.
That’s the core problem to me. You don’t know me yet I have the idea if some women told you I raped her you’d believe her. You wouldn’t believe me. That’s what comes across in your piece. Is Trump a sexual predator. Yes. Yes. Yes. We all see that. So I would advise my daughters to stay away from him and his ilk (though I don’t have to, they have figured it out). But women in Russia who want to exchange sex for money, horrible as that is? Why do you speak for them?
Women don’t want to be told who they can have sex with any more than men. Why don’t you see that? Why can’t you see that you offend women too. No one wants to live in a world where media accusations kill reputations and careers before a person has their day in court.
Unlike you, I don’t believe women are weak. They can make up their own minds who they want to be around. I don’t believe they need to be protected by the media of all things. We all know what Trump is. Why does the media need to repeat it over and over again?
Again, the reason the latest Trump rape isn’t in the media is because of the attitude in this piece. The public gave women activists some power and they ABUSED it. They drummed Franken out of the Senate and they don’t look at more pressing problems, like the fact, as you point out, that Trump can start a war with Iran. That he is splitting children from their mothers. All of that. He is doing real harm to EVERYONE and, guilty as he may be of rape in the past, it isn’t going to get him out of office. You tried on that. Didn’t work out. I truly wish it did with all my heart!
Please move on, like the rest of us, and find a way to fix the fundamental problem. Money equals respect. That’s what Trump ultimately stands for. Next to to that People Working For Money Equals Respect. All his supporters. Do I agree with your values? I’m sure I do 100%. Where we differ is the means by which we make the world a place for more encompassing kinds of respect.
